...All over Texas, Hank Stone and his Texas Honky Tonk Swing Band are playing the hard driving Texas dance music that crowds always come back to hear.

At the 13th annual San Antonio Current Magazine Music Awards on March 8, 2000, Hank Stone and his Texas Honky Tonk Swing Band were the big winners taking San Antonio Songwriter of the Year, Song of the Year for "Alone in San Antone", Single of the Year with "Alone in San Antone", Best Performing Band, BAND OF THE YEAR, and the top honor of ARTIST OF THE YEAR.

Hank has had several chart records in Texas and throughout the south. His CD titled "In a Texas Honky Tonk" was released nationwide in the summer of 2000 and received major airplay from radio stations such as KKYX San Antonio, TX; WJJC Atlanta, GA; KVLR Seattle, WA; WFDU Teaneck, NJ; WBGU Bowling Green, OH; KTFW Ft Worth, TX; and KNON Dallas, TX. The CD also received substantial airplay in Europe, Australia and the UK, topping the chart at #1 in COUNTRY MUSIC PEOPLE magazine in August 2001.

JOHNNY BUSH graciously accepted an invitation to sing a duet with Hank in "An Eye for an Eye", the 12th cut on the CD, a tune Johnny wrote for Ray Price which has since become a contemporary classic.

Besides having worked with Johnny Bush on numerous occasions, Hank has worked with such stars as John Anderson, Darrell McCall, Frenchie Burke and Johnny Paycheck and has been the opening act for RAY PRICE on numerous occasions.

Noted San Antonio Express News columnist and music critic Wiley Alexander called Hank's CD "TOTALLY AWESOME" and said it was one of the finest pieces of pure country music he has heard in years.

There are not many entertainers left today who are so totally devoted to the preservation of Texas honky tonk and western swing music. Nothing proves the point better than hearing Hank Stone and the Texas Honky Tonk Swing Band in their natural habitat performing live country music for Texans everywhere who love to dance!
